Holidays begin

Category : Capharnaüm, Life

It’s again that time of the year when we get the chance to see family and friends (and, in my case, to buy gifts at the last minute).

It’s also the end of my first semester at UTBM (except for the finals exams that will take place in three weeks) which was filled with new and interesting meeting. I hope it will be the same for the semester to come !

I also took advantage of holiday to fill in my application for Prologin a French algorithmic contest. I will also try to complete what I started or brainstormed during this six-month period like finishing DHT integration in Monotorrent, adding some bits I have been thinking of in D-Bus Explorer and toying with Clutter for a Lolut’s project.

And finally, as I will probably be too busy (or lazy :-P ) in the next couple of days to do anything on the blog, I wish everybody in advance a nice Christmas and New year.

Time for a new (small) release of D-Bus Explorer which is now 0.3

New in this release :

  • The treeview now supports search & sorting
  • Added checks to prevent some exceptions both from Gtk# and D-Bus
  • Added the corresponding dialogs to nicely report these errors
  • Miscellaneous refractoring and bug fixing

  • Learning how to make Debian package from my D-Bus Explorer tarballs. Expect a real .deb for next D-Bus Explorer release (which should happen soon) :) .
